About me

Hi I'm Paul, and in 2014 I got my first drone, a DJI Phantom 2 (see image). I was instantly hooked. I spent all my spare time practicing flying and then in 2015 began to modify the drone adding a gimbal, receiver, monitor and then a Go Pro hero 3. 

At the time drones were relatively unknown and everywhere I went in the Peak District I would bump into hikers and walkers who were intrigued to see what I was doing and usually gave them a quick demo. I spent a few years mainly taking video footage and as time went by the drones and cameras became more sophisticated. Only in June 2020 did I decide to turn my hobby into something more serious. 

I upgraded my drone to a DJI Mavic 2 zoom. Then to the DJI Mavic Air 2 and then Air 2s and Mini 2 adding the Sony a7iii to my kit. I also invested in a high end PC to begin editing in 4K and started to grow my You Tube following and to learn to edit photos to a high standard. In October 2021 I started to get into FPV and I now fly over 10 fpv drones with mounted go pro 11 cameras. The footage you can capture with fpv drones is next level. 

This work is a passion and never seems like work at all. I love doing this and I believe in giving people quality work at a price more than fair in comparison to large companies. I believe I'm the niche in the market for videography companies to utilise for content to add to projects.

Born and bred in Sheffield I am fortunate enough to have the Peak District on my doorstep. Therefore, Sheffield would be my main focus for aerial photography but most mornings you will find me out in the Peak District trying to capture a scenic sunrise or the elusive cloud inversion at one of my favorite locations, Winnats Pass.
